I am pleased to announce to all our WayOut friends who use wheelchairs – THE LIFT IS WORKING at Abbey and they have a separate accessible loo that is fully functional – we had our first wheelchair user on 25th Aug – spread the words I want to see all you wheely guys back to fully enjoy WayOut as you should xxxx
The WayOut Club has been accessible to wheelchair users at Charlies for 14 years and has had many regular visitors with disabilities and special needs, including large electric wheelchair users. (including my own nephew Jamie for one)
Friends who have disabilities often tell us that The WayOut Club is the most friendly club that they visited and the most diverse, making them feel very relaxed and welcomed. No one is “normal” at WayOut and that’s the way we like it.
