16 girls strutted the catwalk - first in a sophisticated outfit, then in their most sexy outfit. Competing for the title 'Alternative Miss London' and one of the prizes from our sponsors

Judging is based on - Poise and elegance, Costume and Fun. The judges are Miss Spectacular Miss Lynn Daniels, Tranny Fashion Designer Dane, From Doreens Fashions Betty Freedman, From WayOut Publishing Miss Karen - The judges were helped by Vicky Lee's partner the lovely Miss Lelly and the contestants were helped by Miss Sarah Lloyd and Davina.The contest was photographed by (The Lensman) Rik and Miss Nicki and was videod by Missy Mark. The contest was presented by Miss Kit Kat and Vicky Lee. We were honoured to have previous winners attending the contest.

The Miss Alternative London contest was founded by Steffan Whitfield in 1992 to recreate the opportunity
that Ron Storme & Co gave Steffan at 'Night of 1000 frocks' in 1986...
The Miss Alternative London contest will of course always be dedicated to the memory of Steffan Whitfield & Ron Storme (who I am sure are now co-hosting a fabulous club together - where wings are de-rigeur)
