This picture of Mika (a winner in our 2008 Alternative Miss London Contest) could have been taken in a studio in perfect lighting conditions.

But NO our genius photographer Gareth caught this great shot on the fly in the nightclub on a spring night with 100's of people milling around.
I love this picture almost as much as Mika and Gareth.

Exceptional Pictures Taken at The WayOut Club

The WayOut Club offers trusted photographers some exceptional opportunities. Over many years I have had the joy of seeing 1000's of great pictures. But every now and then a picture just jumps out as exceptional.

So what is is that makes a picture exceptional ? It might be the perfect moment caught to show an expression and composition, it might be the setting that captures or enhances the lighting, It can of course be the colour the costume the charisma of the performer or guest.

This picture of Natasha from our 'Soldiers in Skirts' show taken in Nov 08 was taken by Gareth. From the same set is a full length shot which nearly made the 'Exceptional' the lighting settings are perfect and the composition with the scenery great but the hand looks a bit awkward and the expression just a little vague but in the main shot WOW Gareth nailed it and caught Natasha perfectly.

These picture of Lou Lou are from our 'Spooky Haloween' show in Nov 08 were taken by Gareth. You can see that Lou Lou's makeup and expresssions provided ample opportunity but it was the accidental combination of Lou Lou's costume and the scenery that really set the picture up. With just the right settings and the right moment with the shutter Gareth got this great picture
