How sad is this. Lovely Samantha Eames passed away 7th Dec peacefully, but SO young.
Many of you will have known her as the original bass player with The Frantastics. She also won one of our WayOut Star Search contests playing keyboard and singing. She performed many times at Sparkle. Such a beautiful person. That is SO sad. She must be remembered
|Frances McKevittRicky, this may be the strangest commendation of your photography that you’ve received yet? A framed photo of this will be placed upon Sam’s coffin on Wed’s for all to see and admire what a wonderful thing she was…I thank you. x

Frances McKevitt A BIG thank you to all who donated yesterday at the funeral, we managed to raise £100 for the Princess Alice Hospice…yippee !
Susan Moore I’ll always remember your piano playing, especially at Christmas when you accompanied the family carol singing and put up with my warbling!- you were such a patient accompanist! You had a great knowledge of classical music as well, and even sat through some of my Opera’s!
All of our family will greatly miss you. I dedicate my next Opera “La Traviata” to you and I am happy to have shared some of my life with you.
Katherine Mary Moore My darling wonder-woman, I have not known what to write, I have been thinking of you and your smile everyday hour since you left us, and for many days before you did. Yesterday I visited ‘the premises’ where our band were blessed to have a jam with you not long ago, it was was such an honour to have you there with us, sorting us out, and I even understood how how precious it was at the time. Was fun ordering the boys to carry your massive keyboard in and out of the boot while us girls carried our handbags. 🙂 You have been easily one of the biggest sources of joy and insporation to me, always trying to get me to do more with my music, buying me a guitar-stand in the hope I would look after it and play it more! Woops. Believe me puss, now everytime I sing I will be singing for you, and singing so you can hear it! There is nothing fair or just about how quickly you had to leave, but my comfort is knowing you have already a host of new adoring friends with you.
Gemma Donohue Trying to plan a divinely decadent outfit to wear to kiss Samantha Eames adieu on Wednesday- would do much better if she were here. Sleep well my dear friend- Give Tallulah and Ms Dietrich my love- will be cackling along with you x
