Wife Swap television program looking for Tranny and wife 08-08-08
Katie Yeats wrote to me - Hello Vicky, I am writing on behalf of RDF Television where I am looking for contributors for the award winning family TV series Wife Swap on Channel 4. In each episode our series documents the journey of two women who swap lives and families for 2 weeks – a once in a life-time opportunity. Each wife experiences life in another house and is given an inspirational platform to teach that family something new. We are very keen to find a family who would be happy to open their doors and share their way of life and family values. I was wondering if you could maybe help me with my search? Possibly by sending an email out to your mailing list outlining that we are trying to find new families for our new series? If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to email me or contact me on my direct line: 020 7013 4517.
Many thanks, Katie Yeats

Sara Davidmann wrote for help with her latest project 13-3-08
Hi Vicky Lee, How are you? I am starting a new three-year world-wide?photography project and am conducting a survey as the first stage of it.? The TRANSperspectives questionnaire is the first stage of a three-year world-wide photography project by the internationally exhibited photographer Sara Davidmann, who has worked with trans identified people for over eight years. The project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The questionnaire aims to ascertain the range of gender identities that are currently being recognised and utilized by trans people and to gather together and record trans people's experiences in relation to how the exterior world affects them. One of the aims of this project is to give trans people a 'voice'. The project will generate greater awareness of trans issues so it's important that as many people's experiences as possible are included in the survey. Confidentiality is completely assured. You will not be putting yourself at risk of being identified by taking part in this questionnaire. Ten people who represent a broad cross section of responses will be offered the opportunity to work on a collaborative photography project that will be exhibited and published as a book. The responses will be collected and people contacted with regard to taking part in the photography project immediately, so if you would like to take part in the photography please respond quickly. The questionnaire will close on May 9th 2008. To complete the questionnaire online or to download a paper copy, please go to: http://www.saradavidmann.com/transperspectives.
If you have any queries about this questionnaire please email: transperspectives@saradavidmann.com. ?I hope all is going really well with you. With very best wishes, Sara Davidmann

Jhana Weekes wrote for help with her film project 13-3-08
Hello Vicky Lee, My name is Jhana Weekes. I'm a student at the London Film School. I'm directing a short, black and white silent film this term. I am looking for a transsexual woman to play the title character in my film. Would you be able to offer any assistance for casting this role? Visually, I want to play with the dynamics of race, gender and sexuality. The name of the transsexual character is Miss Leading. I would like Miss Leading to be Caucasian, tall and slender. She should be at least 6'0 in heels. The taller the better. Obviously, she needs to be able to walk very well in the heels, but that should come with the territory. I want someone who is mid twenties to mid thirties who is gorgeous and sophisticated. And just to be clear, there is NO NUDITY, or anything close to nudity in this film. We will be shooting March 3 and 4. Auditions will be held on Tuesday February 19. If you know anyone who would be interested or can offer any assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. 077 865 89828. My friend and I will be at Way Out this Saturday. We will make an effort to make ourselves known to you. Any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Jhana

Katsomya wrote about the TGirl group that she is bringing together
I am developing a t-girl group/show and seeking both applicants for the group and potential sponsors/investors The group will comprise 3-T-girl's perfoming a glamorous, grandiose and theatrical performance. These Shows will blend elements of cabaret, burlesque and broad-way show. I'm seeking rehearsal space, a choreorgrapher. I have a dress maker onboard who has some fabulously talented hands. As well as the expected "diva" style music moments, inspired by late 70's high gloss glamour, there will be R&B, jazz, latino and 30's era influences. This will be hard work for all involved, and take time to develop as an art form in itself, I am not doing this for fame, success is its own reward, and to provide this entertaining soulful entertainment ,to the public, will provide the most satisfaction to me.
I'm looking at staging small shows in London venues then expanding to larger capacity clubs and theatre's with a long-term target of Australia, Las vegas, Rio, Thailand and at fashion shows, mardi gras, etc Looking beyond I have written lyrics for tracks with a dance/r&b flavour and at some point would like to enter the studio to lay some materiel down with a view to club and radio play. One goal is to release something during the 2009/2010 winter Miami music conference, and send promotional copies to djs and promoters in ASIA, ITALY, THE USA, and BALLIERIC'S for radio/club play. I look forward to hearing from those that can help me achieve these targets write to me at shejkat@hotmail.com

Can you help with this magazine article ? 26-1-08
Becky wrote - Hello there Vicky , I hope you can help. I am currently researching an article on pioneering surgery of the twentieth century. Something we are keen to cover is gender reassignment surgery, and specifically we were hoping to speak to someone who was among the first to undergo the operation. I wondered if you might know somebody who would be willing to speak to us, or alternatively perhaps you could point me in the direction of someone who would. I look forward to hearing from you. Very many thanks,

Acting in 'Metrosexual' a Short Film 17-1-08

Dear Vicky, It was good to talk with you this week. I'm Richard Lipman, a short film director and film professional. Could you kindly forward the following message to interested persons? I am looking for a transgender (now a female, previously a male) or cross dresser to play a tough, savvy female person to play the lead, Elisabeth. Elisabeth's age range is 30 to 50 and in the short film she heads up the Institute of Transgender Relations. Here is a link to the online advert as posted on Mandy: http://www.mandy.com/1/cast3.cfm?v=25359648 'Metrosexual' is the story of a young couple, Jacqueline and Francis, who meet a group of professionals for diner and accidentally become involved in a symbolic discussion and sado-masochistic dance concerning the feminisation of the male. Shooting and rehearsals will commence in London in early 2008. Benefits: The actor will receive a dvd copy of the short, credits as well as travel expenses and food. The short will be entered into competitions worldwide. I also intend to market the film to the gay and lesbian communities and across all media. Let me know if you require further information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Vicky, I heard of you from Margaret Dawn Pepper. We are doing a documentary on her about what it is like to be a transvestite/transsexual these days. The reason I am contacting you is to ask if you could put me in touch with anyone who would be willing to talk to us about their experiences, their journey to get where they are now. We haven't got much time left as It all needs to be finished by December 3rd. We are trying to finalize the documentary but we feel it would be nice to have more than one person talking about their life/journey/experiences. I am free next week to meet anyone who might be interested in talking to us. We are a group of four photographers from the University of East London working on that documentary. The documentary consists of a film interview and portrait images. Our intention is to put on an exhibition from this work but the exhibition places we have been in touch with would like to see our work finished first in order for our proposal to be accepted. I would appreciate any help or advice you could provide me with. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you in anticipation for your prompt response. Best regards, Fran Hergessel. fhergessel@totemforce.com

My Puppies 17-10-07 I returned home after the WayOut Club on Sunday 21st October which was my birthday. I thought I had a good party at the club (thanks to all the performers and well wishers) but as I arose around midday the house began to fill up with unexpected and very welcome guests. Friends and family nattered ate and drank into the evening when I noticed my pregnent dog 'Rosie Lee' getting agitated. I gave the office bedroom to herself and as I cuddled her I noticed a wet patch. As I was feeling the wet cover out popped a puppy right into my hand. (this one is named Happy Lee) Rosie somehow knew exactly what to do so I left her to it running into the others shouting "weve got a puppies".

She went on to deliver 4 more between 8pm to 12.30. In the morning the vet came to check every one - luckily Lesley and I were ok - but he said "Rosie has another puppy inside her" 2 hours later with a wiff of gas and air she had a delivered one more by ceaserian (this one was named Lucky Lee - Late Lee almost Dead Lee) and was back feeding her babies (great tits). I cant believe how much time it takes looking after them but luckily I have the "puppy posse" to help. Here is heavily pregnent Rosie Lee in Lesley's room in the new house, Rosie and her puppies and the puppy posse of huggers and helpers headed by chief puppy person Becks (sitting).

Journalist, Louise Cameron, from Magazine website www.pickmeup.com wrote to me Dear Vicky, To confirm, I am looking for an interview with a MTF or FTM who will talk about the overwhelming challenges they face and how they have been overcome. Hopefully, there will be a Christmas first angle, such as 'My First Christmas as a Woman/ Mum/ Wife' - that sort of thing. This would be for Pick Me Up magazine, which is published by IPC Media, Britain’s biggest publisher of magazines. They launched in 2005 to great acclaim, and were the most successful launch in the women’s weekly market for 15 years. Their estimated readership is now 750,000. Of that 750,000 readers, I am sure some (if not many) will have experience of, or know of someone who is experiencing, transgender issues. Pick Me Up always writes about people in a positive light and they would like this to be an inspirational feature for readers who are going through similar problems. Further to that, they (and I) always read edited features back to my case studies, so that they can check that everything appearing in the magazine is factually correct. The relevant person could expect a substantial fee, or perhaps they may prefer a donation to a charity of their choice? Do please contact me if you have any questions. My direct line is 020 3148 6438 or my mobile is: 07815 139405. All wishes, Louise

First Blog 11-10-07 Hi and welcome to my blog. For years I have spammed my email list with bits of news and opportunities. Recently this has become more difficult as servers prevent spamming and my address book has grown enourmouse and frankly full of old dud addressess. Well now I have finished building my new house ( well nearly) (have you checked out the link new house click here) I have figured out that I can have an intimate chat with you through this new Blog page. I will try to update it frequently and this is where you will find out what I am thinking about and what opportunities are circling about me (like they normaly are).

Latest Stuff 11-10-07 with a little update 20-10-07
I officialy moved from Enfield in North London to Royston near Cambridge two weeks ago. Well my house in Enfield was supposed to be handed over to its new owner on that date (but it is still in the hands of solicitors). Some of you may have followed the progress of the house that I have built - I will be finishing this picture diary soon - as we finish detailing the interior over the next few weeks.
This last two weeks Lelly and I have driven to The WayOut Club direct from our new home and back again. It has taken an hour each way - so no more excuses you lot that live outside London. I will be staying in London from time to time on Saturday nights. I have my office working at the new house so I am back on my emails every day (instead of just at weekends). However my phone does not work very well in my new location so best to text me if urgent or email me.
Lelly is taking a break this week and is at the new home for a few weeks without having to comute to work. We are expecting puppies next week from our Springer Spanial 'Rosie Lee' (little cup of tea) the red one on the left in the picture. What will our older (bossy) dog 'Peggy Lee' think of puppies? watch this space. .
It is my Birthday on 21st this coming Saturday night so as the clock strikes midnight and as I become even more ancient 50 whatever (who knows) we open the curtains on a sequence of birthday-present performances (which is our traditiion).
Thank you to every one that helped make Alternative Miss London another fab night, including every one that was there to watch. Shinata Sangha aged 19 (Bipasha Beyonce) is a supermodel and titleholder of Miss Glamour Queen UK 06, Miss Gay India 2007 and Miss Mango Tee 2007 2nd runner up. Look out for her as miss India in Miss TS international in November where I hope I will be a judge - good luck hunny xxx

I am looking forward to our Christmas Panto 'The WayOut Wizard of Oz'. Dj Titch and Miis Sarah Lloyd are busy putting the sound track and script together. I am the lion (still got my lions nose - dont know where my lions wig is??).
I am looking forward to putting more video up on You Tube and My Space. We have such a terrific archive of video of the many performers and shows at The WayOut Club.
I am looking forward to improving my publishing site www.wayout-publishing.com. I am looking for new TG interest books to promote and sell. I will also be offering a service to publish your own stories/biographies and advertise them on my site. So if you have a book in you that is crying to get out contact me.
I am looking forward to working with Fraser on improvements to www.transgenderatoz.com this is a growing interactive 'tranny guide / tranny bible' on line and as I move from Vicky the Builder back to Vicky the publisher / promoter I will be getting more involved with the site.

My film Tips ( I love movies) 11-10-07
The illusionist is such a superb movie. I completly missed its launch but Mario (4WS) introduced me to it. This film has so many great effects, (I do like an effect or two), a lovely romantic back story and such a twist at the end. The illusionist is now availble on Sky and Telewest down load as well as DVD do give it a try.
I am SO looking forward to the new film 'Stardust' it looks amazing. This one looks like a will worthy of a trip to the big screen cinema.
